Refund policy
Serendipity offers a 14-day return policy for in store and online purchases. All show/event sale purchases are considered FINAL SALE, therefore excluded from any/all return, exchange, or damage policies list below. Online sale items are final sale/unreturnable. The 14-day time period begins upon receipt of your item(s).
To qualify for a refund on your purchase, the item must be in new condition with original tags attached and the return must be made with in 14 days WITH A RECEIPT. If eligible for a full refund, the funds will be returned in the form of original tender(cash/credit/debit/store credit). All qualifying in store purchases returned WITHOUT A RECEIPT, will be eligible for store credit ONLY based on the lowest price of that item within the last 90 days; as long as the item is in new condition with original tags attached.
Item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it, e.g. unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Additionally, receipt or proof of purchase is required to begin the refund process.
To start a return, you can contact us at support@shopsofserendipity.com. If your return is accepted, a return shipping label (at your expense) will be emailed to the address listed on the original order. Order shipped with discounted or free shipping will not incur a return shipping charge. If you choose to purchase your own shipping label instructions will be sent with the proper return department and location. Items sent back without an approved Return Authorization will not be accepted.

Holiday Return/ Exchange Policy (11/7/24-1/7/25)
Serendipity is implementing a holiday return/ exchange window for all your gifting needs!
Purchases made between
November 7th, 2024 and December 25th, 2024
are eligible for exchange through
January 7th, 2025
Please note that the exchange policy is secondary to our typical refund policy. To qualify for a refund/exchange on your purchase, the return(please note qualifications in above 'Return Policy') must be made within the above time period, WITH A RECEIPT, and the funds will be returned in the form of the original payment type (cash/credit/debit/gift card). After December 25th, 2024; we will revert back to our typical 14-day refund/ exchange policy.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We will evaluate the situation and work to make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Select items are non returnable/refundable, this includes but not limited too, swimwear (men's or women's bathing suits), perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty or hair products). Return or shipment of any hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

The quickest way to ensure you receive what you need is to request a return and proceed with purchase of the correct item.
Refunds
Upon receival and inspection of returned item we will notify you by email when/if refund will be issued to the original payment method. If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember credit card/bank refunds may take 5-7 business days to process.
